The "Yak Asura" Collection

Acrylic Painting

The "Yak Asura" collection was born during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Returning to art after a break for work and study, I sought to capture the profound emotions people experience in uncertain times. In Thai culture, "Yak" refers to a mythological figure, often seen as either a powerful guardian or a fierce demon, depending on one's beliefs. This figure inspired me to explore the hidden emotions within each of us.

The Yak Asura collection reflects these feelings through the faces of the "Yak," symbolizing strength and introspection. Each piece in this digital art collection reveals a deeper emotional landscape, encouraging viewers to consider their own inner thoughts. Original Yak Collection created around 2021 and Recreated The "Yak Asura" collection as artwork card designs in 2024, these pieces serve as both personal expressions and reflections of shared experiences during a time of global change.
